How It All Began

2009 · Toronto, Ontario

Our story began in Toronto in 2009, when we started studying at a school of magic.

In our very first year, as part of our practical magic studies, we began working with crystals and stones, talismans and magical artifacts. And something very unexpected happened to me...I remembered my love for crystals from my other lives. It turned out that I knew stones. I could talk to them, and they talked to me. Somehow, I also knew how talismans and magical artifacts worked and what they could do.

And that is actually where my magical shop began:)

The funny thing is, before that in this Life, I had never been interested in crystals at all. I didn't even wear any jewelry! And suddenly, here I was, completely surrounded by stones, learning from them, working with them, and eventually building a whole business around them.

A Dream by the Ocean

2015 · White Rock, British Columbia

In 2015, our family moved to British Columbia, following our dream of living by the ocean. Just two weeks after we moved, we opened our first physical Bella's Miracle Shop in White Rock, right by the beach.

By then, I had already been working daily with crystals, stones, talismans and magical artifacts for six years. I finally felt that I had enough knowledge, experience and understanding to open a physical shop. So that's exactly what I did.

And what a lovely place to have a shop! The ocean just outside, people walking along Marine Drive with that nice, relaxed seaside mood — with open hearts and open minds.

We filled the store with healing, high-vibe and rare crystals and stones, amazing handmade jewelry, magical and unusual things, and gifts from around fifty different countries.

Basically, we filled it with things that made us happy — and hoped other people would enjoy them just as much.

One Shop Became Three!

Over the years, our business grew. In 2020, we opened our second, much bigger, 1,300-square-foot location at Morgan Crossing Shopping Centre in Surrey, BC. And later came our third location, on South Granville str in Vancouver.

Three shops through the years, each with its own atmosphere, challenges and wonderful memories — and so many different people finding their own magic. Running three stores was quite an adventure!

Then came COVID, followed by the economic downturn of the last few years — and we felt it immediately. Our sales dropped sharply, and like many small businesses, we had to make some very hard decisions.

Eventually, we had no choice but to close locations that had been successfully serving their communities for years.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who shopped with us there, came back again and again, brought friends, talked with us, and became part of our story.

White Rock has been part of that story from the very beginning. After eight years in our original shop, we moved just about 100 meters along Marine Drive into a larger space — a little closer to the famous White Rock pier. And this is where you’ll find us today — Happy People Shop by Bella’s Miracle Shop in White Rock, full of crystals, treasures, unusual things, beautiful things, magical things... and probably quite a few things you didn’t even know existed!

And then there are the things that don’t quite fit into any category — strange things, beautiful things, magical things, and things you probably didn’t even know existed. There’s a reason the word TREASURES is on our sign:)

Come inside. Take your time. Enjoy the ocean air, the beautiful uplifting aromas, and the lovely music playing in the background — sometimes peaceful, sometimes upbeat. Spend a little time with the stones. Trust your intuition. See which one you are naturally drawn to. Hold it. Feel its energy. Enjoy. Maybe you’re looking for a gift. Maybe you need something comforting, joyful, or simply beautiful — for yourself, your friend, your family, your teacher, your landlord... or your boss! :)

You don’t have to know exactly what you’re looking for. Ask us! We love sharing what we know, hearing your story, and helping you understand your self better, the stones, symbols and treasures. Make a day of it! Browse our treasures, then wander along the waterfront. There are tons of restaurants, ice cream stops, and sweet treats to discover along Marine Drive.
Explore the pier, public art, White Rock museum, and the famous white ROCK that gave our city its name. Watch the trains pass by, breathe in the ocean air, and look across the bay towards Blaine, Washington.

Our White Rock shop is now our only location.

And we want to be honest about something. If you love having Bella’s Miracle Shop here and want it to continue being part of White Rock for many years to come, your support truly matters. It matters especially during the fall and winter months. When the weather turns cold and rainy, people naturally don’t come to the beach just to spend the day, and Marine Drive can become very quiet — sometimes for weeks at a time.

We know it takes a little more effort to come down to the beach specifically to visit us than it does to stop at a shopping mall in downtown with free parking. :)

But every time you choose to make that trip, shop locally, bring a friend, come back for another visit, or tell someone about us, you are helping to keep an independent local business alive — and helping make sure Bella’s Miracle Shop is still here for you to come back to.
